Big Kahuna Burgers

“What does a good burger LOOK like?” Meat, cheese, a sweet sauce, pineapple. A classic Hawaiian Burger. Marinated beef, a spicy ginger garlic aioli, a sweet crispy bun. This sandwich goes great paired with a five dollar shak, Martin and Lewis style. Kick out your vegetarian girlfriend, fire up your stove and cook this shit.



For the meat and marinade

  • 4# Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 2T Honey
  • 4T Sesame Seeds
  • 6T Teryaki marinade

The Burger

  • 4 Pineapple Rings
  • Hawaiian Buns
  • 4 slices american cheese
  • Lettuce
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1# thick cut bacon

Garlic Sriracha Aioli

  • 1C Mayo
  • 3 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 1tsp Ginger, peeled, minced
  • Sriracha, to taste
  • s/p, to taste
  1. Mix all marinade ingredients together with ground beef
  2. Mix all aioli ingredients together
  3. Let sit overnight
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  5. Form beef into four patties
  6. Lay bacon on tray, bake in oven to desired crispness
  7. Cook Patties to desired temp
  8. Crisp buns, Grill pineapple together
  9. Put burgers together, chow down.
